The Board of Directors of the Witsuwit'en Language & Culture Society is responsible for the governance, management and administration of The Witsuwit'en Language & Culture Society
The Board of Directors consists of seven members representative of the five Witsuwti'en clans: Likhsilhyu, C'ilhts'ëkhyu, Gidimt'en, Tsayu, and Likhts'amisyu

The Board may appoint a member prior to the AGM to sit on the Board until the next AGM. Such Director may be nominated for election at the AGM
A Board Member is elected for a two-year term and may be re-elected for a maximum of two further terms. The maximum term may be extended by no more than one year, where circumstances warrant.
